Dear Parents/Guardians,

Secondary 1 (2025) Registration (23 December 2024) 

Parents/guardians of Secondary 1 (2025) students who are successfully posted to our school will receive the registration details via Parents Gateway (PG) on Thursday, 19 December 2024. Please register your child/ward by Friday, 20 December 2024, 8.00 am. 

If you have yet to receive the announcement via PG by Thursday, 19 December, 4.00pm, or have any further clarifications on the Secondary 1 (2025) Registration, please contact the General Office at 6443 0563.

As most of our communications are done via PG, we strongly encourage parents who are not yet onboard PG to register for the PG app. You may wish to contact our General Office at 6443 0563 for assistance. 

Secondary 1 (2025) Registration Briefing for Parents/Guardians (20 December 2024)

 There will be a briefing for parents/guardians on Friday, 20 December from 9.00 am to 10.00 am via Zoom. Parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to attend this briefing as important administrative information and instructions will be shared during this session. Log-in instructions on the briefing will be provided upon completing the Secondary 1 Registration.

As part of the registration briefing, a segment on the Offer of Subjects at More Demanding Level (MDL) will be carried out for parents and eligible students. Parents of PG1 and PG2 students who are eligible to offer subjects at MDL will receive the offers via PG on Friday, 20 December from 12.00pm onwards.

Additional details on Secondary 1 (2025) Registration matters:

 1.    Transfer Application 

·       For transfer into Bedok View Secondary School
Students appealing for transfer into our school, will need to meet the Cut-Off Point (COP) and cannot have been assigned a school via the DSA route. Once these considerations are met, the school may consider applications subject to vacancies. Please complete and submit the S1 Appeal Application Form via this link: https://go.gov.sg/bv-s1appeal-2025 or the QR code below by Tuesday, 26 December 2024, 12.00 pm.

·       For transfer to another school (due to medical reasons)

Please submit the appeal and supporting documents at Bedok View Secondary School in person on Thursday, 19 December 2024, from 8.30 am to 12.00 pm. For more information, please refer to https://www.moe.gov.sg/secondary/s1-posting/results/appeal-for-school-transfer/.

2.    MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (MOE FAS)

 For application of MOE FAS for your child/ward, you can visit MOE’s website: https://www.moe.gov.sg/financial-matters/financial-assistance and apply online.  Alternatively, you can download the MOE FAS application form  from the website or collect a copy from the General Office. 

 You can submit the application form and the supporting documents to us via email at bedokview_ss@moe.edu.sg or directly at our school’s General Office by Thursday, 26 December 2024.

 If your child’s/ward’s primary school has already approved the MOE FAS application for the year 2025, kindly forward a copy of the approval letter to us.
