BV Navigator
Introduction
In BVSS, students experience applied learning through the BV Navigator programme. This is the school’s signature programme which provides students with opportunities to explore inter-relationships and interconnectedness of subject specific knowledge in an applied learning manner with a sense of global awareness. It offers Bedok Viewans a unique opportunity to expand their understanding and skills on global issues through various project frameworks, aligning with the Emerging 21st Century Competencies (21CC).

SECONDARY 4/5 Students’ self-initiate to work on an external project i.e. with community partners, institutes of higher learning, industries etc. Students lead and mentor deckhands and officers to address global issues in their local context. They guide the school in commemorating important United Nations (UN) International Days i.e. International Clean Energy Day, World Population Day etc. to provide global awareness to the whole school. |
SECONDARY 2 Focus on understanding the 17 SDGs and apply Design Thinking Process to address a national issue for one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals under the theme of “Sustaining Our Singapore” |
